Bullying is an act of taking advantage of a person due to a certain criterion they lack. This might be stature, height or charisma among other aspects of human nature. Bullying can happen to anyone as all human beings are born unique and they do not share similar characteristics. On average, everyday 20 children attending the same school become victims of bullying in Namibian schools, this number might increase in different parts of the world. If we put two and two together we might realize that approximately 4000 children become bullying victims daily. Since violent behavior is acceptable in some societies it is very hard to combat this social ill. Bullying has many effects on its victims, ranging from a minor fear which is temporary in nature, to an excessive fear of other people which might last for a lifetime if no assistance is sought. This phenomenon does not only affect those who are bullied but those around them as well. People who know the bullying victim may notice changes such as: 1. A sudden silence in a usually talkative person. 2.A shy nature. 3.A person crying for no reason. 4.A noticeable change in appetite. 5.A decrease in self esteem. 6. Depression and excessive stress These are just minor indications of changes in the nature of a person, these changes might be indications of millions of aspects in an individual's life. If no attention is paid to a person displaying these characters it might lead to huge complications. A bullying victim might also become rebellious and "Crack" causing excessive harm to anyone who he or she confronts. Cracking is a process that occurs when a depressed or excessively stressed person does awful things to others just to feel relieved. A person who is in this state acts like a madman and might kill or injure others intentionally. This is but a few harmful effects of bullying. Avoid CRACKING, stop BULLYING! Does any of this seem familiar? Your input is highly valued so post your comments and let us discuss this matter.
